Where a number came from.

Kiln does not invent a daily series to fill gaps. If a day was not published, it is missing. If two dashboards disagree, both stay visible and the row is marked disputed.

Feeds

Prices refresh from CoinGecko while this tab is open, about every 20 minutes, for the protocols that have a CoinGecko id. Revenue refreshes from DefiLlama daily revenue for a fixed list of slugs. Neither feed needs a key. If a call fails, the seed dated 13–14 Oct 2026 stays on screen.

Buyback percents are policy, typed next to the protocol. They are not something DefiLlama returns. When the app multiplies that percent by refreshed revenue, the result is tagged estimated.

Radar is separate from the ledger. While a tab is open it asks DefiLlama, about every 20 minutes, for daily revenue and for when each protocol was listed. A protocol lands on Radar only when the fee writeup (or, for a new listing, the description) actually describes a buyback, repurchase, or burn of its token — not when the word merely appears in a sentence that says the protocol does not do this. Protocols already on the ledger are skipped. Listing age under 120 days is called new. You do not add these by hand for them to appear. Track saves a lead in this browser. Dismiss hides it on this device. If a launch is not on DefiLlama yet, Radar cannot see it, and the add form is the way to pin it.

Trending is a curated sample in the narratives file. It is not LunarCrush. A LunarCrush key can be provided to the server as LUNARCRUSH_API_KEY later; the app does not call that API until a provider is added, and it does not store the key in the page.

Tags

  • Reported. Printed by the protocol, DefiLlama, or a named third-party series.
  • Estimated. Derived. Usually policy percent times revenue, or tokens implied by spot price.
  • Held. Bought back and kept. Not a burn.
  • Disputed. Same-day public numbers do not match. Nothing is averaged.

Saved on this device only. Marked as an estimate.

The button stores a row in this browser only. To ship one for everyone, add an object to the seed list: id, ticker, category, chains, mechanism (burn or held), buyback percent, latest session, cumulative note, and the links a reader needs to check the claim. Leave a field empty instead of guessing it. Set live.acceptRevenue only if a DefiLlama slug is also added to the server allowlist.
